"KW" originated from a DailyUI challenge. The prompt is to create an above the fold landing page design. I decided to create a design for Karen Walker, a contemporary fashion label focused on creating pieces that are both directional and wearable.
After choosing KW's Spring collection of sunglasses, I decided to tailor the design based on these products. A key functionality of these glasses is its ability to create a see through effect of the lenses making it possible for actual eye makeup to blend in with the lenses themselves. I wanted to centre the design on this functionality. As a result, I chose a photograph that clearly illustrates the glasses, and made it big enough and centred to grab the eye's attention upon landing on the page.
To give each glasses its own personality, I matched each glasses to the colors of the background as well as the color of the typeface. By including all the information they need such as product info, features, delivery, and return policy on the landing page without the user having to leave the page, this enhances the user experience as it saves them time. The goal is for a user to land on a page and eventually click the call to action, in this case, Add to Bag. As the landing page provides the user with convenience all the information an average user would need, this would help maximize the conversion goal set for the product.
